Currently using around 5gb memory, librew is using around 500mb but nothing else jumps out. Lots of gnome stuff.

Are you using any GNOME extensions? Those tend to cause memory leaking issues when poorly maintained/developed.
Yes, our at least I was. Now they won’t turn on, when you try to enable them it crashes back to the login screen.
Any suggestions?
This GNOME extension bug was fixed around 6 days ago. Try updating.
